At Houston's one year check up he was in the 100th percentile for height and 50th for weight which is almost exactly like Peyton   It is fun to compare these two and see how different they are. * He says Hi to everyone whether they notice it or not. Every morning when I go to get him out of his crib. I open the door and he is standing there and says "HI". He also says Thank You, Mama, Dada, Uh Oh, No, Ball, Balloon. We are working on Kilo, it sounds like KKKKK. I'm trying to teach him Peyton, but he just laughs every time I point to her and say her name. He mimics a lot of her sounds. Time sure is just flying right by I wish Pey would get just a little bit older and I wish Houston would stay a baby for ever. I can't believe he's 8 mo old! I have the perfect baby. It's true, I love him so very much. He just cuddles me all day long. I want to hold him for ever! He is quite the tank, he absolutely loves food. If I make him a bottle and I am eating regular food he won't take his bottle. I have to feed him then eat if its something he can't have yet. He loves crackers especially Chicken in a biscuit  He also loves bannans... I despise this food, but because I love that little guy I buy fresh bannas and pure them for him. He goes crazy for this. He grunts and snorts when he eats them because he loves them so much. He is super lazy, he doesn't like holding his bottle. I have to tease him for a second to get him to hold it. Houston is now 6 months old can you believe it? I sure can't. He is a chunky monkey! At this 6 month appointment he was in the 90th for length and 85 for weight. * Rolls over and over and over * Up on all fours rockin away and trying to crawl * Almost holding his bottle, but spoon feeding is a breeze. Opens his mouth and swallows great. (opposite of Pey she held her bottle early, but couldn't quite get the spoon) * Has TWO teeth already! * He was sleeping though the night until last week when he started teething and now i'm trying to get him back on track. * Falls asleep on my shoulder and loves to cuddle. I said "my kids" the other day and I couldn't help but laugh I've never said that before, same with when I say children. Did I ever think I'd be a mom of 2? Not a chance. I wouldn't change my life for anything. I am truly blessed! H.M.H. August 3rd 2012 The night before the hospital called to get my insurance information. I thought we'd be going in around noon since we had a few people infront of us, but when they called that night they informed me that I was now first in line! 6:15 the phone rang and they asked us me to eat a light breakfast and to be at the hospital by 7:30am. We got up gathered our things and stopped at Gandies on the way to the hospital.  We arrived got checked in and then came the IV I asked them to put it in my left hand because I'm right handed it made everything much easier to do.  It hurt and did stop hurting once she got it in and kept hurting until that night. Stupid IV. Then it was time to start the Pit! My doctor was in SLC at a C-section and told them to start me on a low dose because they normally start you a little higher. There Mike and I saw watching the Olympics and I was having contractions every 4 to 5 min apart. When I arrived I was dilated to a 4 and about 5...

30 Weeks It's JUNE people! Which means only 2 months months to go. I really want this summer to be long and slow, but at the same time I want it to be August now! My goal of staying under 200 lbs is still looking pretty good. Although Carvers custard in AF might say other wise ;) My cravings are still sweets especially Ice Cream! A few days ago I had some acid reflux starting so I got back on the water train and it has gone away.  I've been going to the Splash Pad and it seems everyone is preggo so I don't feel so bad sporting the swimsuit. Peyton has been in this new little habit of dumping out things which I hate! Bending over has now become a joke. She also loves sitting on my lap when I'm sitting down and I've been trying to tell her there is a baby in my belly, but I don't think she gets it.  Houston is now 3 lbs today and a pretty good kicker. I just hope he doesn't go up in my ribs like Pey did oh that was so painful.  I've been trying...

26 Weeks Here we are again, four weeks have gone by. I am in an amazing mood today and so I figured I'd better blog about it! I was felling pretty bad about the 16lbs I put on in just one month and have been trying to cut back on my carb intake. I swear all of the yummy foods are carbs. I've never really cared about what I eat and have no idea how many calories is a lot and stuff like that, but I did look up to see what are bad carbs. I also have been drinking more water to help with the retaining of it. Kind of ironic don't you think.  Anyway back to my story of today. I have been asked to be a bridesmaid in Matt and Seantay's wedding on Aug. 16th. Yes that is one week from my due date. Today I went and got fitted for my dress. I was dreading this because no 6 almost 7 month prego wants to go be measured unless your crazy. I got there and the dress is perfect it hides my bump really well and is gorgeous. Before I start I want to apologize for the detail and things I blog about. Now that my blog is private I can be more open. I've said this before, but I want to turn my blog into a book and look back on it some day and how I felt at that moment. My memory is horrible... This is my own little journal. Take it or leave it. I hope you enjoy. Time to get out the maternity jeans, the regular jeans no longer fit so fat clothes here we come. I haven't had any food aversions like I did with Peyton. With her I couldn't even look at Chicken with out vomiting. Don't get me wrong some meat really isn't my favorite right now, but I still eat it. I am waking up in the night with charlie horses. Oh how I hate them! I also hate this super hero sense of smell too! I am no longer craving salty things, I've now moved on to anything sweet. Who knows how many packets of fruit snacks I eat a day.... Lets not get started on the ice cream bowls every night. Speaking of the crap f...

Half way there people! It's nice to know I'm half way it feels great. I was telling Mike on the drive home from the doctor that in some ways it just hasn't hit me that we are having another one. He said it has for him, but that our family just dosen't feel complete yet. I reassured him that it will when he gets here :) As for these last few weeks have gone SLOW because my SIL is expecting and due on Friday and I can't stand it. So exciting! Houston and Cozy will be only 5 months apart. Peyton and Cozy will only be 15 months apart. I think they will all be great friend. How far along?: 20 weeks 3 days Total weight gain: I am what I weighed when I got pregnant with Peyton! Which makes me feel great! Oh but lets not forget i'm stil up 10lbs. Which is still in the good range :) Maternity clothes: Not really, which is great! I can still wear a few of my bigger jeans and most of My regular shirts which is great.
