Our kids

I said "my kids" the other day and I couldn't help but laugh I've never said that before, same with when I say children. Did I ever think I'd be a mom of 2? Not a chance. I wouldn't change my life for anything. I am truly blessed! Husband of my dreams and two adorable children and lets not forget Kilo :)

Peyton Tajma Hall
I took a few days last week and decided it was time, no more diapers for little miss Peyton. It was a rough few days staying home and constantly watching her every move. I did the naked method for the first couple days and then she got her big girl panties and she was so excited! We went to Ikea and lunch with friend and were gone for 3 or 4 hours. I knew she had to go because she kept telling me in Ikea, but wouldn't go on the toilet. When we got home I was busy with Houston and I looked down and she is holding her little bowl of pee and saying Skittles, Skittles, Skittles. I knew she was waiting just go on her potty, but she went all by her self and has continued to do so since then. Oh yes I've bribed her with her favorite candy Skittles and it has worked like a charm. #2 is a little bit harder and she has accidents with that, but I don't mind because she is 20 months I'm just proud of US :) I really learned a lot of patience this past week! We also up graded her to a big girl bed which she absolutely loves!! She can get in and out as she pleases and feels very special. Plus she plays in her room in the mornings so that gives me more time to get things done.
She is always making me laugh. She got a hold of my deodorant and took off the cap and wiped it under her arms on her shirt of course. It was the funniest thing. She does things like this a lot. The other day she had a runny nose and asked for medicine. I gave her some and a few minutes later her nose continued to run so she wanted more medicine. How do you explain to a toddler you can only have so much medicine in so many hours.
Tooth paste is her favorite! She wants to brush her teeth all the time even right before a nap. She is speaking in sentences more and more everyday. Last night she woke up in the middle of the night crying. Mike went to check on her and when he walked in her room she said "Daddy it hurts." He changed her bum and put asap silver on it, when I got up with her this morning she wanted "more medicine" on her bum and made that very clear. I told you she is one smart cookie.

Peyton in on of her potty training outfits!

Houston Michael Hall
We went to the doctor today and he is 12.12 lbs and 24 inches long. He is in the 95th percentile for both! He is a big boy! All the nurses couldn't get enough of his smiles and giggles.  He got 3 shots and is kind of a grumpy bum. He didn't really cry though he is a tough guy! I really feel like I only get 2 weeks of the newborn stage with my kids. They get so big so fast. My neighbor has a little girl that is 3 months and Houston was her size. He is fitting in to 3 month clothes too. In that way he reminds me of Peyton she was tall as well, they are very different in a lot of ways. Everyone says he is a Hall and looks so much like Mike. He is also very calm and and easy. His cries are still very newborn like. He is content and calm. I love his dark hair and big blue eyes (yes I still hope they turn green though).
He is starting to get the hang of sleeping through the night. He does good on the weekends which is when Mike wakes up with him. NOT FAIR! He slept from 11 to 7:30. I've never had him sleep that long for me. He has the cutest hair it is dark and faux hawk like. His smile just melts my heart and I love to hear him coo. He is most awake at 10pm which is nice because P is asleep so it give us some one on one time. He is my little binky baby if he is fussy at all he can quickly be soothed with his b. Peyton didn't want anything to do with binkys so it is a welcomed change.

My big little boy!
