The Love/Hate relationship of Thanksgiving!

Since I was little I have always really hated Thanksgiving. Mainly because I hated that it’s on my birthday every six years or so and everyone wants one thing for dessert… PIE! I HATE PIE!  Luckily I have an amazing Mom and she would always make me a cake. J

 This year I must admit I’m still not the biggest fan Thanksgiving, but I am very thankful for a lot of things. Mike said to me this morning “Happy Thanksgiving, I am so thankful that you are in my life.” How cute is that! I cannot hate Thanksgiving after that?  I am thankful for Mike as well I really don’t know where I would be without him. I am so thankful for FAMILY. Mine doubled in size this year! I love the Halls and the Parrys very much and am very thankful.  I am thankful to be living in a house and I know we are thankful that we have two very good jobs.  I am thankful for FRIENDS.  You can tell by my birthday post that I am so thankful for all of my friends and the love I feel from them.  I am thankful for the GOSPEL I have lived in Utah all my life and so it has just been a part of me. Recently I have been to the Eastern and Western Caribbean. I love that I have the knowledge that I have about eternal families and so much more.  On a funnier note before I get all teary eyed… I am thankful for competition, GO UTES! Okay really I am not a BYU hater I just love the rivalry. I do cheer for BYU when they aren’t playing the UTES or TCU. I like to watch TCU kill BYU. As far as this Saturday goes I am thankful for Max Hall and his interceptions. J I am thankful for the Weather. I HATE SNOW! It has been really nice and I know it’s going to snow on Saturday, but for now I am very thankful. I am really excited for Thanksgiving to be over so I can turn on our lights and put up the tree! I hope this didn’t sound too much like a testimony because that’s what I kept thinking after I would read the line I wrote, but I guess If you think about it, it kind of is.  Thanks for reading and I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Hawaii Day 10

Our last day we slept in and packed everything up. We met the family out at the pool and played there and in the ocean. It was the only cloudy day and it did eventually rain a little. For dinner we went to a Sushi place that we found online that was recommended by locals. It was quite the hole in the wall. I thought the food was great and the rolls were so big!  The fish pond  hmmm This conclueds Hawaii! We flew 7 hours and I wore a BK crown and this little kid though I was weird till I gave it to him. It was nice to be tan for a while and so nice to see Pey when we got back she was standing up and holding on the couch and walking. Hope you enjoyed the pictures.  Until Maui 2013!

Janae's Birthday!

Waiting to be seated at Applebee's! Chris and Mike in deep thought about the menu :) After dinner we went to Habits. Mike took P and went home to play Call of Duty and let mama go out to play.  Kristen and I got our grove thang on with out our hubbies, but next time you bet your bottom they will be there!! I came home late and found these two, so cute!

Thankful Day 1

Today I am grateful that I got to wake up to this face. This is the first thing I saw this morning. She said "Dad let me borrow it." I knew it was the one he left up high for himself for later.  Peyton is extremely independent she likes things done her way. I wonder who she gets it from :)  She is so energetic the only time she holds still is to sleep. I'm lucky to call her mine and so thankful I can.
